Sophie Leitman
About
Sophie Leitman has always known she wanted to become an attorney. She was drawn to the practice of law by a desire for a career centered on helping others and making a meaningful difference in their lives, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. That calling led her to family law in particular, a field that allows attorneys to support people through some of the most personal and challenging moments they will face. Her experience in family law throughout law school has only deepened her interest in the area and reinforced how unique and important every case truly is.
Sophie grew up in Tampa, Florida, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Central Florida in 2023, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She currently attends Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where she expects to earn her Juris Doctor in May 2027. While in law school, Sophie is a member of the Board of Advocates honors organization and competes nationally in mock trial. Outside of school and work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and traveling.
